  3. …in reply to @pettter_e
@pettter_e i agree! this will not be better than hand-authored alt text. but i would personally like it if, when i was writing alt text, i could start from a generated description and then edit it, if needed. and it seems like it will be better than an image with no alt text.

  10. okay i still haven't watched any of it, but my take on the Jenny Nicholson video is that she is approaching it as a fan of Disney and that i am approaching it as a designer of interactive experiences and so we are grasping entirely different parts of the elephant

should i have takes on things i have only glancing second hand experience of? sure, why not
  12. …in reply to @v21
anyway, what this means is that she sees it and says : wow, this is a lot of money for something that doesn't really work, why did you do this Disney and i say: wow, you got Disney to pay that much money to try this thing no-one else has gotten to work yet, good job designers

@pillowfort i believe it! both things. i guess it's: the question i'm interested in is how to make larp accessible to normal people/how to make an immersive theatre show that makes money (same problem, really). which is not the perspective most people are coming to this with!
