@lauraehall yeah, I think staffing is always the biggest cost. I guess there's also a tradeoff in terms of audience investment here - like, you can use less staff if the players have done prep & are more committed.

@lauraehall but I think there'll be an end to stuff getting bigger and more spectacular. each time, the risk increases & expectations increase - look at the way that triple-A narrative games are getting rarer.
