I want to publicly post that I support @SaganYee's decision to move forwards with Wordplay at the Toronto Public Library, despite them hosting a transphobic speaker. @SaganYee I'm glad they've addressed the issue & not just quietly let it slide by - but why should an org led by a trans person cancel an event because transphobes got to speak? And I certainly wouldn't try to move an event like Wordplay to a new venue on two weeks notice.Permalink Look on archive.org
