@alphachar I mean, what I typically do is distract myself from those thoughts by compulsively reading (twitter/a book/etc). But that's not actually a healthy approach.

@alphachar What I think is better is to really unpick the comparisons you're making. Who am I comparing myself against? Is it one person, or a composite of all the good attributes of everyone I can think of? What strengths do I have that I'm shrugging off as the baseline, not worth counting
