    i had a birthday party in Minecraft a few weeks ago - can report that the server (this computer) also ran slow and kept kicking people off

      i'm imagining being the open pit crew, and stressing the fuck out about getting the servers running well and fixing shit in time for launch... and i bet it feels much the same as organising irl events.
