makes total sense, too, from a purely pragmatic POV. either the game doesn't use Steam payment services, in which case they're freeloaders and why not boot 'em. or they do, in which case Steam is acting like a complicated crypto exchange. which they absolutely don't wanna be.Permalink Look on archive.org

one of the biggest headaches Steam has to deal with is people using it to launder stolen money/rinse stolen credit cards. buy games/items, resell for real money, etc. this is just another channel for that to happen via.Permalink Look on archive.org
