@jericawebber @JoeyKnock but yeah, I can see a version of this film where they lay out a lot of this stuff so an audience who doesn't intuitively know and sympathise why a gay person would move out of small town America would get it explained to them. but I'm glad this wasn't that film.Look on archive.org
