        @Sunraged @JolyonMaugham this isn't true in multiple respects: - it was not a NICE decision, but a NHS England interim service specification - the decision only applies to adolescents - a study is being set up to evaluate their use in the future

      @Sunraged @JolyonMaugham the study will, as you'd imagine, involve prescribing puberty blockers to adolescents, including all of those who are currently being prescribed them

    @Sunraged @JolyonMaugham although it's a little by the by, NICE's role is to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of treatments for the NHS, not to determine which treatments are available in the UK outside of the NHS system
