the place you gotta put it is narrow... and tall. everything up until now had a nice easy acceptance zone! and now you gotta make a whole new vehicle just to stand it up on its end.

it's a boring joke explained like this, but that's because it's not a joke that works on the level of words. it's a joke told in game design. you had an expectation... and that expectation has been violated in a way that is congruent with everything you were told before.
