@neekeetza @kat31_f @Starsaber_222 @AriDrennen @LasagneWest that's not what I'm saying at all - most parents are great! most teachers are great! but safeguarding is about the times when something has gone wrong, and compelling disclosure to parents when it seems very clearly not in a kid's best interest seems wrong

But if you legislate that they must always be informed, and something bad is happening (or would happen) at home, then the kid has no one they can tell about it. Which seems bad to me!
