We've been playtesting Fab Beasts for a while, and doing it kind of ad-hoc - which is working, but maybe we could be doing it better?

So - any good resources on toy playtesting? Or stuff I should definitely read on videogame or boardgame or live game playtesting?

Current process is generally: talk as little as possible, lurk in the corner, take notes. Think about: what do people do, understand, enjoy?

I am not that good at imagining I'm a new player approaching the game. Playtests are actually mainly useful for helping with that.

Half the problems I see I see before they happen. But I couldn't see them until someone else was sat there.
