@andybohm i am for sure more worried about them! and yes, laws are limited in effectiveness, it's an ecosystem problem and complex to solve.

@andybohm but i think the distinction between small and big companies comes after "yes, {company} has all your data, and you are reliant on trusting them for it to stay private". which is knowledge that is spread quite well by jokes.

@andybohm these jokes & Netflix's misstep hurt Netflix, and hurt Google via reduced trust generally - but i think they help inform people in general
