    @Odaeus @ordepdev @Argorak to be clear, we did have some intro courses in how to program. and there were further classes that were vocationally useful. but also CS is an academic discipline that is distinct from "how to code" (I didn't actually do CS, but rather Cognitive Science - again distinct)

      @Odaeus @ordepdev @Argorak I honestly think that some of the better bootcamps are better at getting people up to speed for being programmers than a CS class. although a lot of big companies have a CS bias - see all the stuff about algorithm interview questions
