@naomialderman I have sex worker friends and I would not describe their motivations as "desperation". Like, yes, they are often living precarious lives, and doing a sometimes unpleasant and contingent job to get by... but the #1 complaint I've heard is the amount of emailing/admin needed.Look on archive.org
